Endodontics is the branch of dentistry that is concerned with the morphology, physiology, and pathology of the dental pulp and periradicular tissues. Its study and practice encompass the basic and clinical sciences including the biology of the normal pulp and the etiology, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of disease and injuries to the pulp and related periradicular conditions.

To explore the endodontic problems and to provide oral and dental health services with a specialist team. Additionally, our mission is to educate students in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of the endodontic patients through critical thinking and a logical approach.

Education
The department of Endodontics at Bülent Ecevit University Faculty of Dentistry provides training in laboratory and clinical Endodontics to undergraduate students and prepares students to function as an integral part of the health care team through diagnosis, treatment, and referral of patients with Endodontic related disorders.
