On Monday, April 27, 2026, a concert was held in the Conference Hall of the Faculty of Dentistry by the Liutaio Chamber Music Ensemble of our University's State Conservatory.
The Liutaio Chamber Music Ensemble, comprised of Lecturer Cem DERTSİZ from the Instrument Making and Repair Department of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University State Conservatory, Instrument Making Department students Duru YÜKSEL and Furkan BOSTANCIOĞLU, and Music Department Instrumental Music Major student İlyas Onur GAYRET, presented a special repertoire consisting of classical masterpieces as well as traditional folk songs arranged by Turkish composers. As part of the event, Lecturer Cem DERTSİZ gave a talk on the psychological and physiological effects of music.
The concert, which was greatly appreciated by our faculty's academic and administrative staff and students, concluded with the presentation of certificates of appreciation to the ensemble members by the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Prof. Dr. Baran Can SAĞLAM.
