As part of the Organ Donation and Transplantation Week activities held between 3–9 November, a conference was held at our Faculty of Dentistry by Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University Hospital Organ and Tissue Transplantation Coordinator Nurse Özlem DEMİR.

The conference emphasized the importance of organ donation and its lifesaving potential, and Demir pointed out that thousands of patients across Turkey are awaiting transplants. Demir provided information on organ donation regulations, the donation process, and the necessary conditions, emphasizing the importance of raising public awareness.

Answering students' questions after the presentation, DEMİR also provided detailed information to students on how they can donate organs digitally via e-Pulse.

At the end of the program, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Prof. Dr. Baran Can SAĞLAM, presented a certificate of appreciation to Nurse Özlem DEMİR and thanked him for his contributions.(eril)
