An awareness training session on "Online Gambling Addiction" was held for our students, organized by the Guidance and Psychological Counseling Board of our Faculty and with the contributions of the Zonguldak Branch of Yeşilay (Turkish Green Crescent Society). The training addressed the risks of online gambling, which is becoming increasingly common, especially among young people, the process of addiction development, and methods of prevention.

The training explained the psychological, social, and economic impacts of online gambling addiction, contributing to student awareness. Information was also provided on recognizing addictive behavior, early warning signs, and ways to seek professional help.

The program continued with our Faculty's Vice Dean, Dr. Çiğdem ŞEKER, emphasizing the importance of such training for raising awareness among young people and expressing her gratitude to the Yeşilay team. The program concluded with the presentation of certificates of appreciation to Ceyda ÖZDOĞAN GÜRER and Gül KAYA, experts from the Zonguldak Branch of Yeşilay, who conducted the training.
