The 5th International Dental Oral Infections (DOINF5) and 4th Oral Microbiota Congress, organized to discuss current approaches to dental and oral infections frequently encountered in dental practice, promote rational antibiotic use, and reveal the relationship between oral microbiota and clinical diseases, was held at Sakarya University on March 27-29, 2026. This year's 5th international congress, which featured many national and international speakers, included Prof. Dr. Emre Bodrumlu, a faculty member from our Department of Endodontics, as an invited speaker. Prof. Dr. Emre Bodrumlu successfully represented our university at the congress, presenting on "Microbiota and Control Methods of Endodontic Diseases."
