The Erasmus+ European Union Project KA220 kick-off meeting, coordinated by our university and conducted by Prof. Dr. Emre Bodrumlu, was hosted by our university. Within the scope of the project, Prof. Dr. Emre Bodrumlu and Prof. Dr. Ebru Hazar Bodrumlu from Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University, Prof. Dr. İlgi Tosun from Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Lecturer Cumali Yaşar, Dr. Lecturer Merve Erdoğan and Dr. Tülay Dargut Güler, Caner Anda and Elif Anda from Mellis Group, Prof. Dr. Corrado Paganelli from Bresicia University in Italy, Dr. Salvo Nigliaccio from Palermo University in Italy, Prof. Dr. Maria Melo Alminana from Valencia University in Spain were present at the meeting. The plan is to contribute to education by converting dental treatment protocols taught in dentistry education into digital games. Project objectives, shared responsibilities, timelines, and work packages were discussed throughout the two-day program. The main purpose of the DILDENT project, an Erasmus + European Union project, is to improve the quality of dentistry education by integrating advanced educational technologies into dentistry education.

The project team, who participated in the Mine Museum, Gökgöl Cave and Fener Neighborhood tour as part of the social program of the kick-off meeting, reported that they were amazed by the historical and natural beauties of both our university campus and the city.
