An orientation program was organized for research assistants who have recently begun their specialty training at the Faculty of Dentistry and the Oral and Dental Health Practice Center. Information regarding the dentistry specialty training program was provided by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Baran Can Sağlam, and the Deputy Director of the Center, Asst. Prof. Dr. Çiğdem Şeker; an introduction to the Center and the Faculty was also presented.
As part of the orientation, Computer Operator Dilek Delioğlu briefed the research assistants on the specialty training process, the tasks and procedures to be carried out during this period, and the relevant correspondence and tracking workflows. Additionally, a presentation on the hospital automation systems used at the Faculty and their operation was delivered by Automation Specialist Burçin Söylemez Gümüşalan.
The program also included Basic Occupational Health and Safety Training conducted by OHS Specialist Şengül Aksu. This session informed the research assistants about the occupational health and safety risks they might encounter while performing their duties and the essential precautions required.
The orientation aimed to enable the newly appointed research assistants to adapt quickly and effectively to the Faculty's academic and administrative operations and to gain knowledge regarding the processes associated with their duties and responsibilities.
